Main Ingredients
- 8 oz linguine pasta
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoon chopped parsley for garnish
1. Cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the shrimp and set aside.
4. Pour the heavy cream into the skillet and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Cook until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
5. Add the cooked linguine and shrimp back to the skillet. Toss to coat in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
