- 1 cup Butter softened
- 1 cup Brown Sugar packed
- ½ cup Granulated Sugar
- 2 Eggs large
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 tablespoon Orange Zest freshly grated
- 1 ½ cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 3 cup Old-Fashioned Oats
- 1 cup Dried Cranberries
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract and orange zest.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
Stir in the oats and dried cranberries.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
