Crab Cakes
- 1 lb Crab Meat picked over for shells
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon Mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
- 1 large Egg beaten
- 2 tablespoon Butter for frying
Avocado-Wasabi Sauce
- 1 large Avocado peeled and pitted
- 1 tablespoon Lime Juice freshly squeezed
- 1 teaspoon Wasabi Paste
- 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
In a mixing bowl, combine crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, and beaten egg. Mix well.
Form the mixture into small patties.
Heat butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the patties until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side.
For the sauce, blend avocado, lime juice, wasabi paste, and soy sauce until smooth.
Serve crab cakes with avocado-wasabi sauce on the side.
