Ingredients

  • 1 cup Jasmine rice
  • 2 cups Coconut milk
  • 1 cup Water
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt

Instructions 

  1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. In a saucepan, combine the rice, coconut milk, water, and salt. Bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the rice is tender and the mixture is creamy, about 25-30 minutes.
  4. Stir in the sugar and vanilla extract. Cook for another 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or chilled.
