Salad Ingredients
- 2 heads Romaine lettuce chopped
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
- 1 cup Croutons
Dressing Ingredients
- 1 clove Garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoon Lemon juice freshly squeezed
- 1 cup Olive oil
- 1 piece Egg yolk optional
- to taste Salt and pepper
1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together garlic, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and egg yolk (if using).
2. Slowly drizzle in olive oil while whisking constantly to emulsify the dressing.
3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
4. In a large bowl, toss chopped romaine lettuce with the dressing until evenly coated.
5. Add grated Parmesan cheese and croutons, and toss again.
6. Serve immediately.
