  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sugar for coating
  • 2 teaspoon ground cinnamon for coating

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, mix milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients until a dough forms.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Roll dough into balls and fry until golden brown.
  6. Drain on paper towels.
  7. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Roll warm doughnuts in the mixture.
