Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • ½ cup Unsalted Butter
  • 4 oz Semisweet Chocolate chopped
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 2 Egg Yolks
  • ¼ cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ cup All-Purpose Flour sifted

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease 4 ramekins and dust with cocoa powder.
  2. Melt butter and chocolate in a double boiler or microwave, stirring until smooth.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, egg yolks, sugar, and vanilla until thick and pale.
  4. Fold melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture. Then fold in the flour until just combined.
  5. Divide batter evenly among ramekins. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set but center is still soft.
  6. Let cakes cool for 1 minute, then invert onto plates. Serve immediately.
