Ingredients 

Doughnut Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a doughnut pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine the milk, egg, vanilla extract, and vegetable oil.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Fill the doughnut pan cavities about ¾ full with the batter.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the doughnuts comes out clean.
  7. Allow the doughnuts to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
