Ingredients 

Crust

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 large egg

Filling

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz dark chocolate, chopped
  • ½ cup almond flour
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, powdered sugar, and salt. Add the cold, cubed butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Add the egg and mix until the dough comes together. Press the dough into a tart pan and bake for 15 minutes. Let it cool.
  4. For the filling, heat the cream in a saucepan until it just begins to simmer. Remove from heat and add the chopped chocolate. Stir until smooth.
  5. Stir in almond flour, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Pour the filling into the cooled tart crust.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes or until the filling is set. Let it cool before serving.
