Ingredients

  • 1 cup chickpeas, cooked
  • 1 cup spinach, chopped
  • 0.5 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 0.25 cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • as needed Oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. Mash chickpeas in a bowl.
  2. Add spinach, onion, flour, egg, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Form mixture into small patties and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
