Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 pieces Eggs beaten
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs plain
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 cup Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. 1. Pound the chicken breasts to about ¼ inch thickness using a meat tenderizer.
  2. 2. Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with salt and pepper.
  3. 3. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. 4. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. 5. Fry the chicken breasts for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. 6. Transfer the schnitzels to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  7. 7. Serve hot with lemon wedges and your favorite side dish.
