Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Add chicken slices and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated chicken until fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes per side.
Warm the pita bread on the grill pan for about 1 minute per side.
Assemble the gyros by placing chicken slices on the pita bread, then topping with tzatziki sauce, tomatoes, red onion, and lettuce.
