Ingredients 

Chicken Marinade

  • 500 g Chicken breast sliced
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano dried
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper ground

Gyros Assembly

  • 4 pieces Pita bread
  • 1 cup Tzatziki sauce
  • 1 cup Tomatoes diced
  • 1 cup Red onion sliced
  • 1 cup Lettuce shredded

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Add chicken slices and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated chicken until fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  3. Warm the pita bread on the grill pan for about 1 minute per side.
  4. Assemble the gyros by placing chicken slices on the pita bread, then topping with tzatziki sauce, tomatoes, red onion, and lettuce.
