- 12 oz spaghetti
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes halved
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- ¼ cup olive oil
- ¼ cup fresh basil chopped
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese grated
- to taste salt
- to taste black pepper freshly ground
1. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
3. Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook until they start to soften, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Toss the cooked spaghetti into the skillet with the tomatoes and garlic. Mix well to combine.
5. Add the chopped basil and grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
