  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 loaf baguette sliced
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • ¼ cup fresh basil chopped

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil.
  3. Toast in the oven for about 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine cherry tomatoes, garlic, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  5. Top each toasted baguette slice with the tomato mixture.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil and serve immediately.
