Ingredients 

Dough Ingredients

  • 2 ¼ cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Warm water
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 packet Active dry yeast

Topping Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups Tomato sauce
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano

Instructions 

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. 2. In a large bowl, combine the warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  3. 3. Add the flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  4. 4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
  5. 5. Roll out the dough to fit your baking sheet. Place the dough on the baking sheet.
  6. 6. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  7. 7. Sprinkle dried oregano over the cheese.
  8. 8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  9. 9. Remove from the oven, slice, and serve hot.
