- 1 cup Dried apricots
- 1 cup Dried prunes
- 1 cup Hibiscus flowers
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 cups Water
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Chili powder
- 1 teaspoon Tamarind paste
1. In a saucepan, combine dried apricots, dried prunes, hibiscus flowers, sugar, and water. Bring to a boil.
2. Reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes until fruits are soft.
3. Let the mixture cool slightly, then blend until smooth.
4. Strain the mixture to remove any solids.
5. Stir in salt, chili powder, and tamarind paste.
6. Let the sauce cool completely before serving.
