Ingredients

  • 1 large head cauliflower
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Remove the leaves and trim the stem of the cauliflower, but keep the core intact.
  3. Slice the cauliflower into 1-inch thick steaks.
  4. Brush both sides of the cauliflower steaks with olive oil.
  5. Sprinkle garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper on both sides.
  6. Place the steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and tender.
