- 1 large Cauliflower cut into florets
- 2 cups Cheddar Cheese grated
- 2 tablespoon Butter
- 2 tablespoon All-purpose Flour
- 2 cups Milk
- 1 teaspoon Mustard Powder
- to taste Salt and Pepper
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Boil the cauliflower florets in salted water for 5-7 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside.
In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Gradually whisk in the milk, ensuring there are no lumps. Cook until the sauce thickens.
Add the mustard powder, salt, and pepper. Stir in most of the grated cheese, reserving some for the topping.
Place the cauliflower in a baking dish and pour the cheese sauce over it. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
