Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Cashews soaked in water for at least 4 hours
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 tablespoons Nutritional yeast
  • 1 clove Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper freshly ground

Instructions 

  1. 1. Drain and rinse the soaked cashews.
  2. 2. In a blender, combine cashews, water, nutritional yeast, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth.
  3. 3. Pour the mixture into a saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. 4. Serve over your favorite pasta.
