Ingredients

  • 4 cups Carrots, grated
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Ghee
  • 1 teaspoon Cardamom powder
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat ghee in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add grated carrots and sauté for 5-7 minutes.
  3. 3. Pour in the milk and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. 4. Add sugar and cardamom powder. Cook for another 5 minutes until the mixture thickens.
  5. 5. Garnish with chopped nuts if desired. Serve warm.
