Main Ingredients
- 4 slices bread sourdough or your choice
- 4 slices fresh mozzarella about 4 oz
- 1 medium tomato sliced
- 6 leaves fresh basil
- 2 tablespoon butter softened
- 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze optional
1. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
2. Place two slices, butter side down, on a skillet over medium heat.
3. Layer with mozzarella, tomato slices, and basil leaves.
4. Drizzle with balsamic glaze if using.
5. Top with remaining bread slices, butter side up.
6. Cook until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side.
