  • 1 large butternut squash peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Gruyère cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg freshly grated

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Layer the butternut squash slices in a baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix the heavy cream, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  4. Pour the cream mixture over the squash slices.
  5. Sprinkle the grated Gruyère cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes until the top is golden and the squash is tender.
