Ingredients

  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 1 lb Italian sausage sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese grated
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. 3. In the same skillet, add the broccoli and garlic. Cook for 5 minutes.
  4. 4. Add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Return the sausage to the skillet.
  5. 5. Stir in the cooked pasta and parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
