Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups Broccoli florets
  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 medium Onion, diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 tablespoons All-purpose flour
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until translucent.
  2. 2. Add flour and whisk continuously for about 2 minutes to form a roux.
  3. 3. Gradually add chicken broth and heavy cream, whisking constantly until smooth and thickened.
  4. 4. Add broccoli florets and simmer for 15-20 minutes until tender.
  5. 5. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. 6. Serve hot and enjoy!
