Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 8 oz medium pasta shells
  • 2 cups broccoli florets chopped
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Cook pasta shells according to package instructions. Add broccoli florets in the last 2 minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Gradually whisk in milk, cooking until the mixture thickens and bubbles.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in cheddar cheese until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Add cooked pasta and broccoli to the cheese sauce. Stir to combine and serve warm.
