Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Broccoli florets
  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 8 oz Pasta any short pasta
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 tablespoon Flour
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. Steam broccoli florets until tender. Set aside.
  4. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Gradually whisk in milk, cooking until the mixture thickens. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Stir in 1.5 cups of shredded cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
  7. Combine pasta, broccoli, and cheese sauce. Transfer to a baking dish.
  8. Top with remaining cheddar cheese. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
