Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups Broccoli florets
  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 tablespoons All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Steam broccoli until tender, about 5 minutes.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Gradually whisk in milk, cooking until thickened. Add salt and pepper.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in 1 ½ cups of cheddar cheese until melted.
  6. Combine broccoli and cheese sauce in a baking dish. Top with remaining cheese.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
