Bread Pudding with Vanilla Sauce

Main Ingredients
- 6 cups cubed bread
- 2 cups milk
- 0.5 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 0.5 teaspoon cinnamon
- 0.25 teaspoon nutmeg
- 0.25 cup melted butter
- 0.5 cup raisins optional
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, combine milk, sugar, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Add bread cubes and raisins, if using. Let sit for 10 minutes.
Pour melted butter into a baking dish. Add bread mixture.
Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve warm with vanilla sauce.
