- 3 pounds corned beef brisket
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon thyme
Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
Place the corned beef brisket in a Dutch oven.
Add the beef broth, chopped onion, minced garlic, brown sugar, black pepper, mustard seeds, and thyme.
Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat.
Cover the Dutch oven and transfer it to the preheated oven.
Braise for about 4 hours, or until the meat is tender.
Remove the brisket from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
