Ingredients 

Fish and Seasoning

  • 4 fillets White Fish like tilapia or cod
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper optional, for extra heat

Tacos

  • 8 small Tortillas corn or flour
  • 1 cup Shredded Cabbage
  • 1 cup Pico de Gallo
  • 0.5 cup Cilantro chopped
  • 1 unit Lime cut into wedges

Instructions 

  1. 1. Mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper in a bowl.
  2. 2. Rub the fish fillets with olive oil and coat them with the spice mix.
  3. 3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the fish for about 3-4 minutes on each side until blackened and cooked through.
  4. 4. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
  5. 5. Assemble the tacos by placing the fish in the tortillas and topping with shredded cabbage, pico de gallo, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime.
