- 1 can black beans drained and rinsed
- ½ cup bread crumbs
- 1 small onion diced
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
1. In a food processor, mash the black beans until thick and pasty.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed black beans, bread crumbs, onion, egg, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
3. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly oil it. Cook the patties for about 5 minutes on each side, until heated through and slightly crispy.
