Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 can Black beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 medium Sweet potato peeled and grated
  • ½ cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil for cooking

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the black beans until mostly smooth.
  3. Add the grated sweet potato, breadcrumbs, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper to the bowl. Mix well.
  4. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  5. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  6. Transfer the patties to a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes.
  7. Serve on buns with your favorite toppings.
