Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Black beans rinsed and drained
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 medium Carrot grated
  • 1 small Onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large mixing bowl, mash the black beans with a fork until mostly smooth.
  2. 2. Add the breadcrumbs, grated carrot, chopped onion, minced garlic, olive oil, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. 3. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  4. 4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a bit of oil. Cook the patties for about 5 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  5. 5. Serve on buns with your favorite toppings.
