Best Hummus Recipe

Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 can Chickpeas drained and rinsed
  • ¼ cup Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
  • ¼ cup Tahini
  • 1 clove Garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil plus extra for serving
  • ½ teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • to taste Salt
  • 2-3 tablespoon Water as needed

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a food processor, combine tahini and lemon juice. Process for 1 minute.
  2. 2. Add olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, and a pinch of salt. Process for 30 seconds.
  3. 3. Add half of the chickpeas to the food processor and process for 1 minute. Scrape sides and bottom of bowl.
  4. 4. Add remaining chickpeas and process until thick and smooth, 1 to 2 minutes.
  5. 5. With the food processor running, slowly add 2 to 3 tablespoons of water until the hummus is smooth and creamy.
  6. 6. Taste for salt and adjust as needed. Serve with a drizzle of olive oil and a dash of paprika.
