Crust
- 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
- 0.5 cup Unsalted butter cold, cut into cubes
- 2 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 unit Egg yolk
- 2 tablespoon Cold water
Filling
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 0.5 cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 2 cups Mixed berries fresh or frozen
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Add cold butter and mix until it resembles coarse crumbs.
Add egg yolk and cold water. Mix until dough forms. Press into a tart pan.
Bake crust for 15 minutes. Let it cool.
In another bowl, whip heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
Spread whipped cream mixture over the cooled crust. Top with mixed berries.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
