- 4 cups Mixed Berries fresh or frozen
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 cup All-purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Milk
- ½ cup Butter melted
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the berries and half of the sugar. Set aside.
3. In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and remaining sugar.
4. Stir in the milk until the batter is smooth.
5. Pour the melted butter into a baking dish.
6. Pour the batter over the butter, but do not stir.
7. Spoon the berry mixture evenly over the batter.
8. Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
9. Let it cool slightly before serving.
