  • 1 cup beer cold
  • 1 pound fish fillets cut into pieces

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  2. 2. Gradually add the cold beer, whisking until the batter is smooth.
  3. 3. Heat oil in a deep fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  4. 4. Dip fish pieces into the batter, allowing excess to drip off.
  5. 5. Fry the fish in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. 6. Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
