Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg beaten
  • cup butter melted
  • 0.5 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a muffin tin or line with muffin liners.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat together the bananas, sugar, egg, and melted butter.
  4. Stir the banana mixture into the flour mixture just until moistened. Fold in the chopped walnuts.
  5. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
  7. Let muffins cool in the tin for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
