- 4 apples cored
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ cup chopped nuts optional
- ¼ cup raisins optional
- ½ cup water
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Core the apples and place them in a baking dish.
In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon. Fill each apple with this mixture.
Add chopped nuts and raisins if using.
Pour water into the baking dish to cover the bottom.
Bake for 30 minutes or until apples are tender.
