  • 2 slices whole grain bread

Instructions 

  1. Toast the bread slices until golden brown.
  2. In a bowl, mash the avocado with a fork.
  3. Add the chickpeas to the bowl and mash slightly, leaving some whole for texture.
  4. Mix in olive oil, salt, and pepper. Add optional ingredients if desired.
  5. Spread the avocado chickpea mixture evenly on the toasted bread slices.
