Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 small tomato, diced
  • ¼ red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 baguette, sliced
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mash the avocados.
  3. Add the diced tomato, red onion, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 5 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Spread the avocado mixture on the toasted baguette slices.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
