- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 small tomato, diced
- ¼ red onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 baguette, sliced
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a bowl, mash the avocados.
Add the diced tomato, red onion, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 5 minutes or until golden brown.
Spread the avocado mixture on the toasted baguette slices.
Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
