Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup Vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 cups Chopped apples
  • 1 cup Chopped walnuts

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs and then add the oil and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  4. Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined. Fold in the apples and walnuts.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan. Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
