Filling
- 6 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- ½ cup granulated sugar
Topping
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup rolled oats
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup cold butter, cubed
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the apples, ginger, lemon juice, and granulated sugar. Transfer to a baking dish.
In another bowl, mix the flour, oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Add the cold butter and mix until crumbly.
Sprinkle the topping over the apple mixture.
Bake for 45 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
