  • 1 cup Rolled oats
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 cup Milk Optional
  • 1 medium Apple Peeled, cored, and diced
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoon Brown sugar Optional
  • 1 pinch Salt

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil.
  2. 2. Add oats, diced apple, cinnamon, and salt. Reduce heat to medium and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Stir in milk and brown sugar (if using). Cook for another 5 minutes or until the oats are tender and creamy.
  4. 4. Serve hot, topped with additional apple slices and a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired.
