Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Rolled oats
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon Baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup Brown sugar
  • 1 Egg beaten
  • ¼ cup Vegetable oil
  • 1 cup Apple peeled, cored, and chopped

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a muffin tin or line with paper liners.
  2. In a bowl, combine the oats and milk. Let them sit for about 10 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. Stir the brown sugar, beaten egg, and vegetable oil into the oat mixture.
  5. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in the chopped apple.
  6. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
  8. Let the muffins cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
