- 4 slices Bread preferably stale
- 2 Eggs
- ½ cup Milk
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 Apple peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoon Butter for cooking
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are well-coated.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter.
Place the coated bread slices onto the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
In the same skillet, add the apple slices and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
Serve the French toast topped with the cooked apple slices. Enjoy!
