Main Ingredients
- 6 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
- 2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced apples, ½ cup of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Mix well and spread evenly in a baking dish.
In another bowl, mix the flour, remaining sugar, and remaining cinnamon. Add the cold, cubed butter and vanilla extract. Use your fingers or a pastry cutter to combine until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the apples.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
