- 4 cups bread cubes day-old or stale
- 2 cups milk
- 3 eggs beaten
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups apples peeled and chopped
- 0.5 cup raisins optional
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
Add the bread cubes, chopped apples, and raisins (if using) to the mixture. Stir until the bread is well coated.
Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
Bake for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the pudding is set.
