Dry Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
- 1 cup apple cider reduced to ¼ cup
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
In another bowl, mix reduced apple cider, sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
Fill donut pan cavities about ¾ full with batter.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
